The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom differs from Breath of the Wild by placing significant emphasis on the creation of new vehicles powered by Zonai technology. However, you have to refine resources to make the most of your new skills. Here is our guide listing all Crystal Refinery locations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

You come across the first refinery while you are exploring Great Sky Island at the game’s start. It is located right near Nachoyah Shrine, in the very same cave. The Construct there tells you to look for Zonai below the surface, where it originated.

The second refinery is also readily available. You can find it on the north side of Lookout Landing, resting on a high ledge. You can easily see it while standing near the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, and even get most of the way to it just by jumping over the fence from some of the higher steps in the settlement.

When you start seriously exploring the Depths, you’ll likely begin somewhere near the Great Abandoned Central Mine. There is a Forge Construct in this location, which is not far from the Great Plateau East Chasm. We wrote in detail about reaching the area in our guide on how to get the Autobuild ability. You can visit Forge Constructs throughout the Depths to exchange Zonai bits for crystals that you can then hand over at the refineries. There are several Forge Constructs located near various mines throughout the Depths where you can make exchanges.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
