Albedo is a 5-Star Geo character from Genshin Impact that is known for his intelligence and knowledge of Alchemy. He is the Chief Alchemist of the Knights of Favonious and is often seen working with Sucrose, a 4-Star Anemo character.

Albedo’s Best Builds & Artifact Sets

Albedo is best in the role of Sub-DPS due to having high Geo DMG from both his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, as well as short Cooldown rates. This allows for Albedo to be a constant source of off-field Geo DMG which can help buff other teammates. In order to help him reach his full potential, here is the set of artifacts that you should use.

4-Set Of Husk Of Opulent Dreams

A 2-Set of Husk of Opulent Dreams will give Albedo a DEF stat bonus of 30 percent. Since the DEF stat will help to increase Albedo’s Elemental Skill strength, this is a great bonus for him. With a 4-Set, Albedo will obtain the Curiosity effect, which includes the following: The character will gain one stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, which can then occur once every 0.3 seconds. When the character is off-field, they will gain one stack every three seconds. This effect can stack up to four times, which will provide a six 6 percent DEF and 6 percent Geo DMG Bonus.

Making sure to focus on DEF stats is extremely important for building Albedo. When he uses his Elemental Skill and places the Solar Isotoma on the ground, the DMG from this attack scales off of his DEF. Here are the Main Stats and Substats you should focus on when building Albedo’s artifacts.

Outside of DEF, make sure to focus on CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG to boost the strength of Albedo’s Elemental Burst. It should also be noted that if you use Albedo’s Elemental Skill before his Elemental Burst and actively have a Solar Isotoma on the ground, this will generate 7 Fatal Blossoms which will give additional Geo DMG.

Albedo’s Best 5-Star, 4-Star, And 3-Star Weapons

Not only is Albedo already easy to build due to being able to focus on the DEF stat for his artifacts, but he is also the strongest with 4-Star and 3-Star weapons, giving players a cheaper option. Most weapons that focus on either DEF, CRIT Rate, or CRIT DMG will work for Albedo to help improve the strength of his Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst. Here are your best options to maximize Albedo’s abilities.

5-Star Weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter

If you’re looking for a 5-Star weapon for Albedo that you can get through using Primogems on wishes, Primordial Jade Cutter is ideal. Its Bonus Stat includes a base increase to CRIT Rate by 9.6 percent, and its Skill Effect not only includes a 20 percent increase to HP, but also provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.2 percent of Albedo’s Max HP.

If you focused largely on DEF in Albedo’s artifact build, this weapon is a good option in order to increase the strength of Albedo’s Elemental Burst, which can further increase the damage of other Geo attacks from your team.

4-Star Weapon: Cinnabar Spindle

This weapon was made specifically for Albedo, so if you were able to pick it up during the Shadow Amidst Snowstorms event in the past, then you should definitely use this weapon. It increases Albedo’s base DEF stat by 15 percent, and his Elemental Skill DMG will increase by 40 percent of his DEF stat. This effect can be triggered once every 1.5 seconds.

This weapon will allow you to continue scaling Albedo’s DEF stat, which will increase the strength of his Elemental Skill. This weapon is his best option by far and is a cheaper option than a 5-Star weapon, and if you were able to reach Refinement Level 5, this even further increases his Elemental Skill DMG to 80 percent of his DEF stat.

3-Star Weapons: Harbinger Of Dawn And Traveler’s Handy Sword

If you weren’t able to get the Cinnabar Spindle, no need to worry as Albedo is effective with a few 3-Star weapons as well. The Harbinger of Dawn offers Albedo a base CRIT DMG increase by 10.2 percent, and when his HP is above 90 percent, it will increase his CRIT Rate by 14 percent. This is a great Free-To-Play option that you can get through wishing on the Standard Banner or any current Limited Banners. This is also a solid alternative to the Primordial Jade Cutter if you are wanting to focus on an increase in Albedo’s CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate. Make sure to focus on DEF in your artifact build if you choose this weapon.

The Traveler’s Handy Sword will give Albedo an increase in his base DEF stat by 6.4 percent, and his HP will increase by 1 percent with each Elemental Orb or Elemental Particle he picks up. This weapon is a good alternative to the Cinnabar Spindle to give Albedo that much-needed boost to his DEF stat for his Elemental Skill. His Elemental Skill is truly his bread and butter, so this weapon will certainly help build up the strength of this attack.
