Getting Precious Pelt in Palworld
In Palworld, Precious Pelt is not dropped by any Pals, and you won’t find anything about it in the Paldeck. This is because Precious Pelt is exclusively dropped by the Field Bosses.
As you explore the Palpagos Islands, I’m sure you’ve bumped into the many Field Bosses that either linger around the surface or area sealed away in their own realms. These bosses can be challenged, and once defeated, will drop a number of Precious Pelts.
They can be challenged again and again, once they’ve respawned (which takes typically about a day), and they’ll keep dropping the Precious Pelts.
So if you want to stack up, then you should do a tour of the easiest Field Bosses. As you get more powerful, more Field Bosses will enter that category, and you can get even more with every Precious Pelt run.
Thankfully, Precious Pelts aren’t really an important item, so you can push this back till later if you’re not strong enough.

What to do with Precious Pelt in Palworld
The item description of the Precious Pelt in Palworld mentions how it’ll fetch a good price if sold to a Merchant. Strangely, this is all it is good for, for now, at least.
With your Precious Pelts, head over to the Wandering Trader in the Small Settlement to sell them. Each one will net you 500 Gold, which is not bad at all considering how easy they are to farm and how many you get for each boss.

Honestly, Gold is easy enough to get in this game without having to resort to farming and selling Precious Pelts. But if you did want more Gold, or if you’ve somehow lost all of your Gold, then this is the easiest and most solid way of getting Gold quickly.
You can net over 5,000 Gold simply by defeating a few easy Field Bosses.
