Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is almost here, and we’ve got insight into the game’s frame rate, resolution, and more courtesy of a technical analysis from Digital Foundry.

The easiest way to break everything down here is that the Switch version turned out very well. Both frame rate (during gameplay) and resolution max out what’s possible on the system.

Here’s the full rundown:

– Made with the Unity engine
– Simple but effective visuals
– All versions feature dynamic shadows, including on Switch
– Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has 1080p resolution when docked, 720p in handheld mode
– Frame rate on Switch is 60 FPS
– Visuals reduced in spots on Switch
– Textures are lower resolution on the console
– Reflections in many scenes are absent on Switch
– Shadows are a lower resolution
– Cutscenes tend to run at 30 frames per second
– 60 FPS is held very well during gameplay aside for some rare instances
– Cutscenes can drop frames, but also uncommon
– Portable mode runs just as well as docked mode
– Don’t have to get involved with a Ubisoft account on Switch; other platforms force you
