Depending on what type of weapon you pick in Monder Warfare Zombies like the Crossbow, things can go either way. Luckily, you don’t have to stay with one type of weapon, and you shouldn’t. If you happen to come across a TYR revolver, fighting the zombies could be worthwhile. To make the TYR even better in Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ), consider this loadout.
Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ): Best TYR loadout
This heavy revolver has some great feats such as damage, but sadly that comes with compromise. While the TYR can almost one-shot anyone it costs you recoil, fire rate, and range. The following loadout can help, but be aware — these issues are still going to persist. However, on the other hand, they’ll be much more manageable.
TYR attachments
- Barrel: ZIU-16 Heavy Long Barrel
- Ammo: 12.7×55 mm High Grain Rounds
- Trigger Action: Ullr’s Fury
- Rear Grip: Eir’s Respite
- Stock: Ivanov Support Brace
As mentioned, the TYR suffers from recoil. By equipping Heavy Long Barrel, that fixes the kickback the weapon has. It’s a good barrel to have because it also helps increase the range of the weapon. You’re going to be running a lot, having Eir’s Respite helps quite a bit in that department. Running and gunning and improving the accuracy slightly, can give you much-needed breathing room. If you want to increase the TYR’s fire rate, use Ullr’s Fury. The delay between shots is somewhat quicker. While on paper it may seem like it won’t be noticeable, but when you apply the attachment, you can see how much quicker the gun can be.

Now that you know the weapon can almost one-shot zombies and do heavy damage to elites. The equipment you find throughout the world can take things even further.

- Secondary: MTZ-762
- Tactical: Experimental Gas
- Lethal: Thermite Grenade
- Field Upgrade: Tesla Storm
The attachments do wonders for the TYR, but you’ll still get hit with issues with the gun’s performance. In MWZ being overwhelmed is normal, but being able to fight your way out of it is important. Alone, the TYR can only give you some damage, by having another full auto and quicker firing weapon like the MTZ-762, you can overcome a lot. On top of that, the Experimental Gas and Tesla Storm can supplement damage. The gas can stack it while the Tesla Storm creates electricity chains between you and the squad that stun and damage zombies. When those two items are on the field, and you have the TYR maxed out, the undead will wish they were dead.
