BD Game Pause
The BD Game Pause mod, created by BestDaniel-Net, adds one feature that solo players have been wanting since the game came out. The ability to actually pause your game.
In Return to Moria, upon pausing, the game itself doesn’t actually pause. This means that if you need to step away from the game for any reason, you are still under threat of siege or attack. Naturally, this isn’t a great feature as it forces players to leave the world every time they need to step away. Well, with the BD Game Pause, you can pause with your mind at ease as time stops with you.
Fat Chests
The Fat Chests mod, by RareKiwi, expands the storage size of chests to 8×8, dramatically improving their storage capacity.
In Return to Moria, you’ll be collecting a lot of items and resources, and organisation can be a nightmare, considering you’ll either need a huge space for your pallets, or a whole load of chests. Making chests store twice as many items allows your spaces to be less cluttered and more practical.

Fast Launch
The Fast Launch mod, by instanity, skips all intro cards and cutscenes that prelude your play, allowing for an instant start-up when you run the game.
The intros and cutscenes upon launching a game aren’t too bad – if they’re skippable, which they aren’t for Return to Moria. If you can’t be bothered with waiting for everything to finish, and then having to skip the cutscene, then this mod will do you a huge favor.
The Debug Menu mod, by RareKiwi, allows you to access console commands and tools that allow you to do as you wish.
If you want to essentially enter a God mode in Return to Moria, then this mod is for you. With a litany of tools, such as teleport, spawn in and despawn items, X-rays, this mod gives you access to game-breaking tools to give you real freedom.
BD Dwarven Healer
The Dwarven Healer mod, by BestDaniel-Net, allows you to feed and heal your Dwarf with simply the press of a button.
If you want a more casual experience in Return to Moria, then being able to instantly feed and heal will make your expeditions much longer, and will reduce the constant threat of Orcs and Trolls as you heal away any damage that comes at you. There isn’t a difficulty setting for players to ease for an easier game, so this mod makes a good stand-in.
