Waven set to introduce its new season of content with the addition of the new ultra-boss Lance-Dur

The recently launched tactical strategy RPG Waven, developed by the same group as the legendary PC MMO Wakfu, has revealed the details on the brand new game mode that will launch on October 24th. This new PvE mode will reward players with tons of free handouts and new gear for their character if they can top the leaderboards and do the most damage to the primary antagonist of this season; Krosmoz – Count Lance Dur.

Waven has seen a moderate amount of success since launching only a few months ago, and this signals yet another big batch of content added to the game. Aside from the major additions, which we’ll go over soon, a big content add-on to Waven will be coming with this patch as well with the new Battle Pass progression system.

As you might expect, this Battle Pass will offer weekly challenges and a sort of levelled XP system that will level up alongside the completion of those challenges. These rewards range from currency to spend on upgrading materials to cosmetic additions, pets, and perhaps most importantly, the new Daily Ticket currency.

These Daily Tickets are what is needed to do battle with Krosmoz, as the way to begin climbing that leaderboard is to head to the time portal with your Daily Ticket and hop in to join the battle. From there, it’s up to you to perform to the best of your abilities and fight him to as close to death as you can get him, all while learning his attacks and patterns to perform better against him on your next run.

If you can top the leaderboards within the top 100 players, you’ll receive premium currency for cosmetics alongside chests that can offer up new very strong gear and cards for your deck and more!
