Pokemon Go is bringing in Timburr for the October 2023 Community Day

With September almost over, it’s time to look forward to what October has in store for Pokémon Go trainers. As always, the first sneak peek of a new month comes through the Community Day event, which will be spearheaded by Timburr in a few weeks.

October’s Community Day event in Pokémon Go will showcase the Muscular Pokémon, Timburr, who will appear more frequently in the wild alongside its Shiny variant. The event will take place on October 15th, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. local time.

The primary goal is to catch as many Timburr as possible so as to collect enough Candy required to evolve it into Gurdurr, and finally into Conkeldurr. If players manage to achieve this during or up to five hours after the event, they will receive a Pokémon that knows the Charged Attack Brutal Swing.

To help with that, a number of event bonuses will go live as well. A total of 3x Stardust and 2x Candy will be awarded for catching Pokémon, with trainers above level 31 also getting double the chance of earning Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.

Further, the cost of trades will be halved, and trainers can also make an extra Special Trade for the day. Those who manage to take a few snapshots will be surprised with a surprise too. If all that doesn’t seem like enough, then be sure to redeem these Pokémon Go coupon codes!

If players don’t manage to catch enough Timburr by 5:00 p.m., there won’t be much of an issue as Bonus Raid Battles will remain available until 10:00 p.m. Beating Gurdurr in a 4-star battle here will ensure that Timburr appears in the vicinity as an increased rate. And of course, the usual paid Special Research and free Field Research tasks will be up for grabs as well.
