‘A Monster’s Expedition’ From Draknek Is Leaving Apple Arcade Soon, Standalone App Store Release Coming in the Future – TouchArcade
A Monster’s Expedition () is one of the best puzzle games in many years. Alongside hitting Apple Arcade, it has also been released on PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, and Xbox platforms. I’ve enjoyed it a lot on PC and Nintendo Switch. Read my glowing review of the Switch version here. With Apple’s new Apple Arcade games announcement, it was confirmed that A Monster’s Expedition will be leaving the service soon. Draknek has since confirmed that it will be returning to the App Store as a standalone release in the future. Save data will also be carrying over thankfully. A specific release date or price point haven’t been announced. Watch the trailer for the game below:
Check it out on Apple Arcade here if you haven’t already while it is still available. It is also on Steam and available on Switch right now here. The Switch price is $24.99 so I’m curious what Draknek will price the mobile version at. I expect $9.99 or so, but the game is absolutely worth full price on whatever platform. A true gem.
