PowerA’s upcoming iteration of its popular Fusion Pro controller, the Fusion Pro 3, doesn’t drop until April 28, but you can preorder it now for $80 at Amazon
The PowerA Fusion Pro 3 Xbox controller is a wired gamepad compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows. While some may be skeptical of the wired design, the included USB-C cable is 10 feet long and could easily reach your Xbox or PC in most rooms, and there’s no need to charge or pair the device–just plug it in and play.
The controller is also packed with pro-level features that competitive players will enjoy, including four programmable rear buttons, swappable thumbsticks, and adjustable trigger locks with three settings. The most notable difference between the Pro 3 and its predecessors is that the four remappable back buttons are built-in instead of being detachable paddles.
Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, rubberized hand grips, and a protective carrying case. That’s a solid feature set for an $80 controller, especially considering wireless pro controllers with similar functionality can easily cost twice as much as the Fusion Pro 3, if not more. Plus, the Fusion Pro 3’s $80 price is 10 bucks less than the original MSRP of the Pro 2 (which is available for $70 right now at Amazon).
