A new Star Wars collaboration is also apparently on the way.
Reliable Fortnite leakers Shiina and Hypex have shared a first look at the eight skins that players should be able to unlock in the upcoming Chapter 4 – Season 2 battle pass. Shiina also states that they were able to verify the source of the leaks and get good evidence of their credibility.
Hypex and Shiina previously shared that the character Eren Yeager from the popular anime Attack on Titan will be one of the eight skins, and now the rest have been revealed to be original Fortnite characters (according to the leak). One is already known as a remixed skin for the character Drift, but is also said to have an unmasked style.
Some of these skins should be named (or codenamed): Mizuki, Thunder, and Stray, according to reliable leaker iFireMonkey. This is quite different from another list of codenames they shared a bit earlier, so these names are to be taken with a grain of salt.
After Shiina and Hypex’s reveal, IFireMonkey also took to Twitter to leak a bunch of things related to the skins, such as the lizard guy skin having its own music pack and a package of related cosmetics, as well as the existence of a new upcoming male Star Wars x Fortnite skin codenamed “Plot Twist.”
As per iFireMonkey’s tweets, Chapter 4 – Season 2 will not only feature lightsabers but also force powers such as Force Lift, Jump, Push, Pull, Lighting, Rip, Script, and Vaccum. Moreover, two new weapons should be getting added: A smart pistol with enemy tracking function, and a Rope and Chains grenade launcher.
Also continuing from the earlier leaks that the next season will have a “Futuristic-Japanese” theme (Neo-Tokyo), iFireMonkey adds that the vehicles should be getting five new neon-city colors based on the upcoming color scheme, such as: Aqua, Deep Blue, Pink Blast, Red, and Sea Foam.
Last but not least, iFireMonkey expands more on their December leak about players getting a healer NPC in the upcoming season that will follow players and heal them. Other support NPCs with Heavy, Scout, and Supply roles are said to be getting added. A new voice-acted narrative quest line is also mentioned, where part 1 of this quest should involve interacting with the Data Receiver, Kiosk, and Tampered Computer.
A release date for Chapter 4 – Season 2 is still not confirmed, but players are speculating that the season will start on February 9, as Fortnite previously confirmed that the current season will end on March 8. Epic has yet to officially confirm the release date or any of the other leaked information mentioned in the article.
