Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Episode 2 Won’t Release Until Fall
The first episode of Attack on Titan season 4, part 3 was incredible.
Although the first episode of Attack on Titan season 4, part 3, has just made its premiere, fans will have to wait until fall for episode 2. The official Twitter page for Attack on Titan confirmed that the second episode of the final season won’t be arriving right away.
The exact release date has not yet been confirmed, but we can expect the creators to reveal it in the coming months. As of now, we can only assume that the second episode will release in September, given that the studio only has to work on one episode for the remaining six to seven months. And given that the remaining episodes have been in the making for a long time, it wouldn’t be a problem for MAPPA to release it in early fall. However, just like the first episode of AOT final season part 3, the second episode is also highly anticipated to be one hour long, which equate to watching three 20-minute episodes of a standard anime.
The creators also released a new promotional video to commemorate the announcement. The video doesn’t reveal anything about episode 89 and just confirms that it will be out in fall 2023.
A new Key Visual was also unveiled, which shows Eren in his Founding Titan form, trying to catch his friends, including Mikasa, Armin, Hange, Levi, Zeke, Jean, and Conny, while they run away from him. The key visual also thanks the viewers for watching the first episode of season 4, part 3.
How Did Fans React To The News?
Obviously, it was important news for AOT fandom, and fans didn’t leave a chance to express how they felt about it. Most of the comments, of course, expressed their disappointment for having to wait again to watch the last episode of the series.
It was undoubtedly a popular episode, and several fans didn’t forget to thank MAPPA and the Attack on Titan team for a job well done. While many criticized MAPPA for delaying the episode, others cooperated by deciding to wait happily while the creators prepared the final episode.
All that said, Attack on Titan is considered a masterpiece of the anime community, and no matter how much criticism the creators receive for their decisions, the series has a massive and loyal fan base that will continue to defend it.
