Episode 9 of Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will be released on Saturday, March 4th for most regions around the world, while for a select few regions, it will be out on Sunday, March 5th. It had been a long time since Takemichi, Mitsuya, Hakkai, Chifuyu, and Yuzuha had been fighting Taiju and other Black Dragon members on their own. However, the tables might finally turn as Mikey has arrived, and he may join the battle against the Black Dragon. If Mikey decides to fight, this will lead to the biggest gang war we have ever seen in Tokyo Revengers.
What Happened Previously On Tokyo Revengers?
The confrontation between Taiju and Takemichi continued in the previous episode, and the former badly thumped down the latter. However, Takemichi was reluctant to back down. Takemichi remembered every moment his friends and loved ones counted on him, and he finally managed to land a hard punch on Taiju, forcing him to take a knee.
Takemichi told Hakkai that they were friends and he could tell him about everything. Hakkai broke down and asked for Takemichi’s help, and revealed that it was never him who protected Yuzuka, but she was the one to have always protected him from Taiju. It came as a surprise to everyone; however, they still decided to stand by his side. Mitsuya and Takemichi then confessed how they were exactly the same as him.
Hakkai got fired up and stated that he was not afraid anymore. He decided to fight Taiju alone, and the latter became fierce to see his younger brother stepping up to fight him. However, this time, Hakkai didn’t buy Taiju’s nonsense and punched him hard in the face. The two then started fighting, and Taiju overpowered Hakkai easily. Taiju claimed that none of them would be leaving alive as his men had surrounded the place.
On the other hand, Mitsuya told Yuzuha that he was proud of her for saving her brother all this time. We then saw a flashback of Yuzuha promising her dead mother that SHE would protect the family. But soon after her mother’s death, Taiju started dominating his siblings, and as a promise to her mother, Yuzuha decided to take Hakkai’s share of beating as well.
In the present, everyone teamed up to defeat Taiju and his teammates. Hakkai was all beaten up and stated that he heard things. But soon, everyone heard Mikey’s bike approaching. Takemichi stated that now that Mikey was here, they could easily fight Black Dragon; however, Mitsuya stated that Mikey might not help them as they broke the truce between Toman and Black Dragon. Finally, Mikey entered the church and asked what everyone was doing there.
