Resident Evil 4, Exoprimal, Moster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and more will all feature at the event.

Capcom has announced that a digital showcase will take place on Thursday, March 9th from 2:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM GMT, with a pre-show 20 minutes earlier. While Capcom may pull out a new announcement, fans should only expect to see confirmed upcoming games.

In the announcement posted on Capcom’s official website and Twitter account, the publisher also indicated that the spotlight stream will only last about 26 minutes, featuring news on various upcoming games, namely Resident Evil 4, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunrise, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Exoprimal, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.

Currently, Resident Evil 4 Remake is the closest Capcom title release slated for March 24th, and the publisher is likely to shed more light on the gameplay and development. Capcom has previously confirmed that the remake’s VR mode is in active development, and players will hopefully be briefed on the progress. The publisher also recently confirmed that a special demo of Resident Evil 4 would be coming soon, so we’ll hopefully get an update about that too.

As for other titles slated for discussion during the upcoming showcase, players may finally get an exact release date for the upcoming dinosaur shooter, Exporimal, which was given a 2023 release window. As Monster Hunter Rise launched earlier this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, fans are hopeful for the announcement of the Sunrise expansion on consoles.

Capcom also omitted notable titles from the list of subjects in the upcoming spotlight. Players are looking forward to Street Fighter 6 come June, but the publisher doesn’t seem to have anything about the game at the broadcast. In addition, players are still waiting for the Dragon’s Dogma 2 update that developers promised to be coming “soon” late last year. It is already confirmed that the sequel will feature online multiplayer, but everything else remains an enigma.

Apparently, Capcom is not ready to spill all the beans at the upcoming showcase and could save other big announcements for important showcases such as the E3 season. Nonetheless, fans can expect the showcase to delve into the highlighted games. So, if you’re eager to find out what exactly Capcom has up its sleeves, track the Capcom Spotlight stream, currently counting down to its kick-off on March 9 on Twitch, Facebook, and Youtube.
