Whether you prefer to use an assault rifle, submachine gun, or a sniper rifle, you’re going to want a reliable secondary weapon to take to the battlefield with you. If you run out of bullets in your primary weapon or you need a close-range weapon, an X12 loadout build can get the job done in Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play.
The X12 and the Combat Knife are the only options you equip in the secondary weapon slot in Ranked Play. Not only that, but due to the CDL rules being active, there are a lot of attachments that are banned. We’ve got you covered with the best X12 pistol class to use in your next Ranked Play match.
Build the best X12 loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play
- Muzzle: DZS Open Comp
- Barrel: XRK LUC-9
- Rear Grip: Cronen Lima-6
- Trigger Action: XRK Lightning Fire
The first attachment used on this build is the DZS Open Comp muzzle for greater horizontal and vertical recoil control. In terms of a barrel, the XRK LUC-9 improves movement and aim down sight speed, while the Cronen Lima-6 reinforces this and allows you to pull out your pistol even faster. Finally, the XRK Lighting Fire trigger action is a powerful option for increased fire rate.
Grenade options and perks
- Tactical: Semtex
- Lethal: Stun Grenade
With your X12 pistol loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play, you should use a Semtex and a Stun Grenade to help you earn some extra kills and information on the position of your opponents.
Due to the CDL rule set, there aren’t as many perks to choose from. Battle Hardened and Bomb Squad are viable options, while Focus can help reduce weapon flinch. This is especially useful if you’re running an assault rifle or sniper with the X12.
