Deek is your loyal house elf who helps you maintain the Room Of Requirement, the least you can do is help him find his friend.

Hogwarts Legacy is full of many interesting people and creatures to meet. Deek is a house-elf you meet in the Room Of Requirement who will help you maintain the room while also giving you a few quests along the way. He can be found in your Room Of Requirement and will offer quests every now and then through owls from your Professor.
In the quest The Plight of The House-Elf, Deek requests the player to head out and check on one of his friends he hasn’t seen in a while. To prepare for this quest, bring Depulso or a force spell to move piles of rocks, along with Incendio, Confringo, and any other damage spells to kill hordes of spiders, and arachnophobes.
Beginning The Quest And Finding The Cave
After completing the quest High Keep, the player will receive an owl from their Professor informing them Deek needs to see them. It is recommended players be around level 20 for this quest. Deek will inform you to look for his friend Tobbs, who was last known to be in a cave just north of Hogsmeade. The location will be marked on your map, leading players to the cave. The cave is covered in spider webs and signs to stay away, but in true RPG fashion, this is a welcome sign for players.
Exploring The Cave
After entering the cave, you’ll find a small workstation with a note from Tobbs’ master, showing players the situation Tobbs is in. Continue further into the mostly linear cave. Just about every room bigger than a crawl space will spawn enemy spiders to fight, making this a very combat-focused side quest. This cave also contains many Horklump plants to farm for juice. This can make up for any lost potions used in fighting the many enemies of this cave.
There will be a few spider webs to burn through, furthering the use of your fire spells during this cave. Many of the fights are trivial until you reach the Thornback Matriarch. This fight won’t be the most difficult, but focus your Incendio and Confringo spells on the Matriarch while allowing the area of effect bonuses from that spell to deal with the small spiders.
In the next room, your face another small horde of spiders, and the boss, the Acromantula. This spider is massive, moves very fast, and hits hard. Due to its size, you’re unable to lift and juggle it. Focus all damage-based spells you have on this enemy and completely take it out before considering taking out the other smaller spiders. This is also the best time to use any saved-up Ancient Magic charges, as this can be a surprisingly strong enemy and is the last enemy of the quest.
After defeating the Acromantuala, you’ll head into the last section of the cave and find Tobbs. Interact with and read the note Tobbs left behind to learn he met his fate at the hands of the Acromantual, but at least you were able to avenge him. Continuing down the path will allow you to drop back to the first room and quickly exit the cave. Return to Deek and tell him Tobbs fate, and the quest will be completed.
