After fighting and defeating Muscular and saving the civilians from his wrath, Deku has now embarked with Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist to defeat other villains; however, his main motive will remain to find Shigaraki and stop him. The preview available for the upcoming episode reveals Lady Nagant and some previous users of One For All, which hints that episode 20 will focus on them.

What Happened Previously On My Hero Academia?

Yo and Tatami from Ketsubutsu Academy reached the abandoned city to evacuate the remaining civilians after they were informed about a villain causing chaos nearby. Yo tried to convince them to leave the city, but they refused and stated that they didn’t need heroes anymore and could protect themselves. The villain turned out to be Muscular, whom Yo battled, while Tatami left to protect the civilians.

Muscular was way too powerful for Yo, and the latter was easily defeated even after using all his Quirk. Muscular was about to kill him, but Deku saved Yo at the last moment. Muscular instantly recognized him from their fight in the forest and felt excited to fight him again. Deku and Muscular started fighting while Tatami took unconscious Yo to safety.

Before the fight, the sixth user of One For All, En, warned him to use his Smokescreen Quirk within limits. Deku easily overpowered Muscular. Upon asking about the motives for his deeds, Muscular stated that he just loves destruction.

Deku then punched him hard on his damaged fibers, knocking him unconscious, and sent him back to the prison. The civilians then agreed to evacuate with them. A few days earlier, the doctor explained to Izuku that even the fatal injuries were easily recovered due to his increased strength.

He then told the truth behind One For All to Inko and that he won’t be returning to U.A. to protect everyone from Shigaraki. After that, he confronted his mother and assured his return. They both then decide to team up with Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist to find out other villains and defeat them.
