The day Hakkai, Takemichi, and Chifuyu waited for had arrived in the previous episode of Tokyo Revengers, and now it was time to see the repercussions of their actions. While Hakkai has gone berserk and would likely try to kill his own sister, Takemichi will probably have to come up with a quick plan to stop that from happening. At the same time, he had to save his own life at the hands of the eldest Shiba sibling. Hanma and Kisaki betrayed Chifuyu previously, so we might also get to see how he would deal with the two of them.
What Happened Previously On Tokyo Revengers?
Taiju was ready to go to the church, and for the meantime, Koko and Inupi were given the duty of leading the gang. On the other hand, Yuzuha got a call from someone. Chifuyu remembered his past with Baji and how the latter inspired him. Chifuyu didn’t respect any other team members except Baji, so the latter told him (Chifuyu) to follow him and no one else. In the present, Chifuyu gave Baji’s Batton to Takemichi, entrusting him to stop everything.
Chifuyu, Takemichi, Hanma, and Kisaki then head to the church. Upon reaching, Takemichi went inside the church while the other three waited outside for Taiju’s arrival. Takemichi met Hakkai and tried to convince him not to kill his brother. However, Hakkai was resistant to listen to him, after which, Takemichi revealed that he had broken up with Hina in order to save her. Takemichi stated that he should not kill Taiju for his sister’s sake.
Suddenly, Taiju entered the church, and Hanma attacked him with a knife, but he failed. Takemichi realized that Hanma and Kisaki betrayed them. We then see Chifuyu being badly beaten up by the two and tied somewhere. Takemichi told Taiju to let go of Hakkai while he was dealing with his younger brother. He then approached Takemichi and started trouncing him.
When Taiju was about to reveal Hakkai’s dark secret, he was suddenly attacked by Yuzuha, who had been hiding in the church all this time. It was then revealed that she was informed about the situation by Kisaki. Takemichi realized that in the current timeline, Hakkai would not be the one to kill Taiju, but it would be Yuzuha. Taiju was mad at her for trying to kill her own brother, but Yuzuha stated that he never considered them his siblings, and all he cared about was himself. He punched her hard in the face and decided to kill her while crying for being put into such a messed-up situation.
