The second season will return with episode 7 in March.
The Bofuri TV anime episode 7 has been delayed by two weeks due to the spread of COVID-19 infection in China. The series will be returning with a new episode on March 8.
Some parts of the second season of the Bofuri TV anime are being produced in China, where the animation studio is going through a difficult time because of a COVID-19 outbreak. Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what will happen to Maple and Sally. The anime will instead air the first episode on February 22 and the second episode on March 1. The production team also revealed that episodes 8-10 will air weekly after March 8. However, the streaming schedule for episodes 11 and 12 has yet to be decided.
SILVER INK is in charge of the production, with Shin Oonuma directing the anime’s second season. Fumihiko Shimo is handling the series composition while Kazuya Hirata is again designing the characters. Hiroyuki Honda is attached to the project as the chief animation director with Taro Masuda composing the music.
Inspired by Yuumikan’s light novel series, the Bofuri TV anime stars Kaede Hondo, who previously appeared in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as Shigeru Kamado and My Hero Academia as Pony Tsunotori. She is also known as the voice of Sakura Minamoto in Zombie Land Saga. The Japanese cast of the Bofuri anime also includes Ruriko Noguchi as Sally, who previously assumed episodic roles in Comic Girls, Love Live! Superstar!!, and Selection Project.
The second season of the Bofuri TV anime tells Sally and Maple, who will journey through NewWorld Online to gain new friends and complete battle-filled quests. Funimation streamed the first season as it aired in Japan in 2020.
Since the end of last year, the production of several anime shows has been delayed due to the spread of a new COVID outbreak in China. Lastly, episode 7 and beyond for The Misfit of Demon King II has been pushed back indefinitely. The second season of the Bofuri anime first premiered on January 11, with Crunchyroll simulcasting the anime with an English dub.
