Trigun Stampede Release Date, Time, And Where To Watch
Get ready for the return of the greatest Gunman ever known, Vash the Stampede.
The greatest gunman in the anime world, Vash the Stampede, is returning with a brand new series from the Trigun franchise, Trigun Stampede. The upcoming series is scheduled to release its first episode on Saturday, January 7th, 2022. In Japan, the series will air on local networks like TV Tokyo, while Crunchyroll will air it to international audiences. As confirmed by Crunchyroll, the series will air at 8:30 AM PST, which means the episode will release at the following times:
- Pacific Time: 8:30 AM PST
- Central Time: 10:30 PM CST
- British Time: 4:30 PM GMT
- European Time: 5:30 PM CEST
- Indian Time: 10:00 PM IST
The announcement regarding the new Trigun project was made in July 2022 by the official website of the franchise and the official Twitter account of studio Orange, which has animated the upcoming anime. Studio Orange is held in high regard for its work on Beastars, Black Bullet, and a plethora of notable projects. The number of episodes Trigun Stampede will run for has yet to be revealed, but the first episode of the series is titled “No Man’s Land.”
Trigun Stampede is directed by Kenji Muto, with Tatsuro Inamoto, Shin Okashima, and Yoshihisa Ueda working on the series composition and scripting. The music for the upcoming series is composed by Tatsuya Kato, with Masatoshi Katsumata by his side as the sound editor. The opening theme song of the series is “Tombi” by Kvi Baba, and the ending theme song is “Hoshi no Kuzu α” by Japanese singer Saiku, with the composition done by Haruka Nakamura.
The cast of Trigun Stampede included some well-known voice artists, such as Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Teruki Hanazawa in Mob Psycho) as Vash the Stampede and Kenji Matsuda (Zanki in Kamen Rider Hibiki) as Roberto de Niro. Other cast members include Kouki Uchiyama as Legato Bluesummers, Maaya Sakamoto as Rem Saverem, Ryusei Nakao as William Conrad, and Sakura Andou as Meryl Stryfe.
The official website of Trigun also shared a short synopsis of the series and revealed the setup of the upcoming anime. Trigun Stampede will take place in a land far away from the Earth where five moons shine and the few surviving humans live on a special plant, which acts as a bio-powered reactor that could create all matter from the starch. In this harsh world, there’s a man named Vash the Stampede with a bounty of $6 million on his head, and anyone who tries to get involved with him is sure to face death.
