All Luglox Locations In Dreg Town
You’ll enter Dreg Town early on in High On Life. It’s the location you’ll track down Douglas of the G3, who, no matter your choices, will be one of your earliest bounties. Unfortunately, the Luglox for the area will not all be possible for you to unlock on that first visit.
Most will be high on the buildings, meaning you’ll have to wait for the jetpack and in some cases, the mag-boots. To grab them all, you should just wait until you have these items and then rush right back for the Luglox and get them in one go.
The Rooftops
As backtracking is recommended for these Luglox, the first thing to do is take the portal door to Old Town and take the elevator down to Dreg Town. This will make it easier to find this access tunnel, blocked by a fan Sweezy must use her time slow on. This tunnel brings you to Lower Dreg Town, where you’ll instantly see several Luglox on your radar.
The advice for the Luglox is standard fare for this collectible. Luglox will always appear on your radar as a blue dot when you are close, so use the images provided to get familiar with the locations you missed. These rooftops are the most plentiful location for Dreg Town, out of the 36 Luglox in the area, 15 of them are on the rooftops. This is double-edged, when you barely have any Luglox you’ll find them easily as you jetpack around, but once the herd is thinned they’ll seemingly never show themselves again. To make this easier on yourself, jump from rooftop to rooftop with the jetpack and just see which direction your radar is pointing. If your radar is clean, just keep jumping in a direction until you are sure there are none left.
The main center of Dreg Town has more places than just rooftops, but these will be the easiest ones to spot, so try and get them out of the way as soon as you can.
The Streets
While these are divided into separate sections, note that the street-level Luglox will be in the same rough locations as the rooftop ones. It’s even possible for one building to house a Luglox in front of it or behind it, and then one or two on the roof. Dreg Town is comparatively small for its high collectible size, which again, will make collecting them easy at first but possibly troublesome later.
Instead of leaving these Luglox for after you find the rooftop ones, try to collect them simultaneously by sniffing them out with your radar. While on a rooftop, if your radar claims you are practically on top of a Luglox but you can’t see it, jump off the building and start searching the streets. Also, remember that not all streets are on the same level, so you may even have to fly from street to street on occasion.
Trickier Locations
If you started searching for the Luglox before unlocking Creature, you may have been confused by this pipe. You’ll need to send one of Creature’s children into the pipe, and they’ll unlock the forcefield hiding the Luglox.
Just above that pipe is a Luglox hiding behind a barrier meant to keep you inside the map. Knifey will be able to open the Luglox through the barrier, so no worries.
In the distance is a magnetic wall your mag-boots can grip to. Upgrade the jetpack enough to fly there, grapple to the wall, and grab the Luglox.
Tricky because it’s under the city, look for these trailers and the Luglox they hold on top.
That won’t be the only Luglox related to a storage container, look for one that’s open and slightly toppled over as there’s a Luglox inside it.
Speaking of tricky areas, be on the lookout for Vacant Lot. It’ll be in a back alley not far from the G3 graduation path during the bounty mission for Douglas. Scouting the outer areas of Dreg Town with the jetpack may still get you there if you hug the right walls.
You can only climb up the wall in the distance with Gus’s platform ability. Also note the left of the image, where you can see another Luglox.
Fly over to the large graffiti that easily marks the location.
These rocky outskirts also hide a Luglox in the corner of a crag, keep a lookout for the glowing red wall that denotes Gus’s ability while using your radar in these outer city areas.
Search for open windows while flying, of the few enterable buildings, there is a Luglox waiting for you.
Getting back to Lower Dreg Town, while flying keep an eye out for green toxic water and the spot where you did one of the pipe puzzles during the story. If you didn’t grab it during the story, there’s a Luglox near one of the pipes.
Speaking of the pipe puzzles, return to the area of the last one and notice a Luglox on a rocky cliff ledge. You’ll need the jetpack, so you couldn’t have gotten it during the earlier mission, making it easy to forget.
Just above the arena, there are two wires to grapple onto. You’ll have to switch between them depending on which one has an obstacle at that moment, and a Luglox awaits you at the end.
This last one has two notes. First, find this entrance, it’s around some buildings in the starting area as a back alley. Use Gus and Sweezy or just an upgraded jetpack. You’ll find a street artist alien who ran out of green spray paint.
Their paint was the same color as Kenny’s ammo, so finish their tag for them, and they’ll let you open the Luglox behind them.
