Above the Clouds is an Azata Mythic Quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. During Act 3, you’ll be able to build your Court near Drezen. Visit it a few times and, eventually, you’re given this particular mission. It’s imperative that you complete this as it leads to further progression. Here’s our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Above the Clouds guide to help you complete this Azata Mythic Quest.

Gathering Edible Thingamajigs and Shiny Thingamabobs

The Above the Clouds Azata Mythic Quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous entails some fairly easy tasks, at least early on. You simply need to visit to your Court and talk to important NPCs. Shortly thereafter, you’re asked to wait for two weeks, which means you can just go adventuring until the next prompt. Eventually, though, you’ll hit a brick wall once you’re tasked to find thirty edible things or thirty mosaic pieces.

These items in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous are called Edible Thingamajig and Shiny Thingamabob. The only way to get them is if you have a lot of junk.

Most junk items can be found in the “Other” tab of your inventory. These include Old Map of Avistan, Wooden Plate, Silver Inkwell, Smoking Pipe, Tian Xa Ink, and more. Generally speaking, if you go to a merchant, they’re the sort of stuff that gets sold if you click on the “Bulk Selling” option. It also means that potions and non-magical weapons don’t count. Anyway, if you’ve been roaming around, checking containers and chests in various dungeons and villages, then you probably have a lot in your stash. You may also check vendors in case they still have these items available.

Whatever the case may be, you’ll want to interact with the Magical Transmuting Soil in your Court. There are three of these in the area, so you can pick whichever one you wish. Place the junk item and click “Apply” to convert it into something else. Depending on the result, you can receive 4x Edible Thingamajig, 4x Shiny Thingamabob, or other random junk.

Songs and Floating Islands

Once you have 30 of either the Edible Thingamajigs or Shiny Thingamabobs, talk to Maestro Aven’Turine in your Court. You should be able to hand over the edible things or mosaic pieces.

Aven’Turine will say that they need to work on this endeavor for a bit, which means a little adventuring on the side until the next prompt. You’ll return two more times, the first to decide on a song, and the second to make an Azata-based choice. You’ll receive seven-day buffs for these options.

Regardless of your decision, a cutscene will play, whereupon your Court will turn into a floating island. There are two exits (i.e., one that leads back to the world map and the other takes you straight to the Drezen Citadel). This completes the Above the Clouds Azata Mythic Quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

Note: This arc continues in succeeding chapters, such as Where’s My Dragon in Act 4 and Wind of Change in Act 5.
