All Luglox Locations In Old Town
Old Town is a west-inspired location in Port Terrene, and High On Life holds 27 of its collectible Luglox chests in this location. From the saloon to the bridge that Mac And Cheese brothers refuse to finish building, these chests shouldn’t prove too hard to find as long as you know exactly where to fly with your jetpack or climb with your mag boots.
Grabbing all 27 chests will get you closer to the achievement and, more importantly, grant you a lot of pesos, trading cards, and upgrades for your Gatlian friends.
The Unfinished Bridge
Entering Old Town from the Outskirts will require you to traverse through a bridge that will never be completed. Between your jetpack and Knifey’s grapple hook, this is not a problem, and you’ll be picking up 6 of the Luglox during this trek. Your first is just under the grapple; you may even land on it.
Only a few steps in, you’ll find a wall that you can climb by launching one of Gus’s platform discs, with a Luglox waiting for you. The Jetpack can also bring you there if you’d rather fly around and if the Jetpack is suitably leveled.
Continue walking and keep a lookout for a grapple line. This bit is tricky, you have to use Kenny’s special shot to move a turning platform, so it no longer blocks the grapple line, and then, as you’re grappling down the wire, you have to shoot another special goo shot to knock down the other platform blocking you. Correctly do this platformer puzzle to earn a Luglox.
Just after that trial, you’ll see another Luglox sitting on a cliff edge. There’s a magnetic wall you can grapple to, which will activate your mag-boots, so you can safely climb on and then use your Jetpack to fly over to the Luglox.
Make your way back and continue the path up. You’ll come across an access port where you need to use Creature — just shoot one of his children-based projectiles, and they will unlock the door to a shack just above you. Either grab that Luglox after you leave the bridge or just fly up with the jetpack and grab it while it’s fresh in your memory.
To conclude, the bridge is a simple one. There’s a Luglox just behind the railing of a ramp. If it wasn’t for the radar always showing the Luglox, this would be sneaky, but instead, it practically sticks out like a sore thumb as long as you check your radar.
Old Town Rooftops
Remember there are 27 Luglox locations in Old Town, and as Old Town is not the largest area, many of the Luglox will feel a bit haphazardly placed. All this means is that with the jetpack to help you, you’ll be sniffing out extra pesos in no time. Just fly around and keep your eyes on the radar, but for the moment, you can make this easier on yourself and only focus on the ones on rooftops.
The radar will make short work of these Luglox — just use the images to note landmarks such as Nipulon’s Lounge if you need extra help to orient yourself. There are two more Luglox to note on the rooftops, and both require Sweezy’s special ability.
The easier to spot of the two will be this large industrial fan. Just slow time and walk right through it for the Luglox.
There’s also one inside a silo near Nipulon’s Lounge. You’ll have to slow down the time at the opening to the silo and fall through; it’s a small space, so you’ll find the Luglox right next to you practically wherever you’ll land.
That makes 18 of 27 Luglox. The last few will range from being right in the open to requiring a bit more prodding around.
Scattered Around Town
Just above the entrance to Dreg Town is a cliffside holding a Luglox. While the method is the same as just flying around, it was left out of the rooftop section as it’s not technically on a rooftop.
Run around the road of Old Town to find a mostly closed garage, a Luglox will be poking out of it.
Keep your eyes on the radar as this one is hidden inside a shack. Squeeze your way inside to grab it.
Also a bit tricky is the Luglox hiding under a rock structure, but again, your radar will be able to guide you. Just note whenever you see the blue dot, look for either type of structure, depending on which one you haven’t opened or found yet.
Fly behind the area of the saloon to find this dropdown point, there’s a Luglox jammed in the crevice.
Speaking of the saloon, it holds two Luglox. The first is by the bar and owned by the bartender, but he will do nothing to stop you from opening it. Just be saddened by how easily he was robbed.
The second is in the rafters of the saloon, and it’s trickier than you’d think. The saloon is a friendly area, which means the game will turn off your radar while inside. You have no other option besides looking up until you find it. The saloon isn’t too big, so this shouldn’t take you too long.
There’s a story section where you unlock the passage to this location by talking to the father of the Mac And Cheese Brothers. Just grab this Luglox before heading back.
Check out the edge of the cliff near Nipulon’s Lounge. There’s a spot where Gus can use his platforms to help earn you the last of Old Town’s Luglox chests.
