Ichika finally knows that her brother is innocent and took the blame for her deeds.

The previous chapter of Black Clover manoeuvred the powers of Ichika and Ryuzen Seven, and it seemed like they were powerful enough to bring down Sister Lily and her Paladins. However, the new spoilers for the upcoming chapter appear to suggest exactly the opposite. The enemies are powerful enough to surprise our protagonists, and even Ichika comments on their enormous Yoryoku. The upcoming chapter is also important for the character development of Ichika as it brings out her dark past, which she herself isn’t aware of.
Black Clover Chapter 347 Spoilers
Chapter 347 of Black Clover is titled “The Truth in Deception” and starts with Ichika realizing that they don’t need Asta’s powers after all, as they are strong enough to take on their enemies. But then, Lily and her Paladins appear, and they unleash a big attack which is a combination of Ice Magic and Spatial Magic. Their combined attack is powerful enough to surprise Ichika, and she comments on their extraordinary Yoryoku.
The next panel reveals the Paladin with Beast Magic, who has the ability to use the illusion spell that could terrify the enemy by showing them the memories based on their fear. Kezokaku’s memories show her a frog while Ichika sees her father. Ichika accepts that she used to fear her father when she was a child, but the spell won’t work for her now.
The memories gradually start to become stronger and stronger, and she sees her father’s getting angry as there’s no war going on. She then sees her father talking to Yami about rebuilding the Yami clan and giving him a medicine passed down through generations which is known to bring out a person’s demonic form. But Yami turns down the drink, and her father forcibly feeds it to Ichika, after which she goes berserk and starts massacring the clan’s people. This means Yami took the blame for her little sister for killing the clan.
These memories give her a spine-chilling experience, and now she wonders if she was really the one to slaughter all of her clan. The last memory shows Ichika’s father praising her and saying, “as expected of my child, Ichika.” Now, back to the present, Daizaemon is affected by the attack and can barely stand, but he is reluctant to give up and says they can’t lose. Lily replies by saying that Lucius has a place for all of them in his new world filled with peace. She is prepared to launch another attack.
Ichika is still in the trauma of her past and considers herself weak. As she isn’t focused on the battle, she’s about to get slashed by the enemy, but Asta appears on time and saves her, reminding her of Yami, who used to save her from her father’s abuse.
