God of War Ragnarok players will have another good reason to pick up Kratos’ Leviathan Axe once more next year as the game’s developer, Sony Santa Monica, has announced that the game will get a New Game Plus mode early next year.
Sony Santa Monica has acknowledged fan demand and posted an announcement from the studio’s official Twitter account stating that the studio will be releasing the God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus mode in Spring 2023. God of War, which also got a free New Game Plus mode that allowed players to take Kratos and Atreus on their epic adventure, so it’s good to see Sony Santa Monica keeping with the status quo.
This follows the trend set by 2018’sGames these days cost a fortune and players want as much juice from the fruit, so to speak, and one way that developers can entice players to remain engaged with their product and give players extra value for money is to offer a New Game Plus mode. God of War Ragnarok has received a few updates since its release, including an update that brought the oft-requested fan favorite Photo Mode, which was a nice post-release freebie.
