Incantations scale off the player’s faith in Elden Ring. These incantations can deal damage to enemies, provide buffs to the caster and allies, or heal large amounts of health without touching your Flask of Crimson Tears. While many faith builds focus on their support capabilities, damage-dealing incantations are incredible options to make short work of any enemy.

Where To Find Elden Stars

Elden Stars Location On Map

Elden Stars is located within the Deeproot Depths, an optional area that many players can miss without proper exploration. In the underground area, Climb on top of the stone aqueducts and ride along until it connects back to the ground. Continuing northeast, you’ll face the two Valiant Gargoyle bosses. After the first Gargoyle reaches half health, the second one will spawn. Try and focus down one at a time or spawn a spirit ash to keep you from being outnumbered. After defeating the bosses, head to the coffin in the back left of the arena. Select to lay in the coffin, and you’ll arrive in the Deeproot Depths.

In the Deeproot Depths, start at the Great Waterfall Crest site of grace. Head down the path until you eventually find massive roots, and find the ones that connect to the cave along the Northwestern wall of the cave. Head up the roots and enter the cave, which is full of giant ants. There are both ants along the floor and roof, fight through them, and head to the back of the cave. To the left side of the cave will be a tunnel leading to a body hanging off the cliff’s edge, which can be looted to obtain Elden Stars.

How To Use Elden Stars

Elden Stars Menu Description

Elden Stars requires 50 faith to memorize and 41 FP to cast; it also takes up two memory slots. This spell is incredibly powerful, releasing dozens of stars at your enemy and dealing damage on impact. This spell deals holy damage and, if used correctly, has a very high potential damage output.

After being cast, this spell will continue to move and launch stars at your enemy, all while the player can move around and act independently. This greatly helps the player combo or distract the enemy from making sure all of the individual stars hit their mark. This spell is best when used in a combo when you’re able to stun your enemy or being a distraction to keep them moving while you begin to cast other powerful spells.
