God Of War Ragnarok: Odin’s Ravens Helheim Locations
There are numerous Ravens to hunt down in God of War Ragnarok, but Helheim only has two to find.
There are a plethora of side quests, artifacts, and other collectibles to acquire throughout your playthrough of God of War Ragnarok. One of the longest side quests of the game involves destroying all 48 of Odin’s ravens that are scattered across the realms. Some are easier to find than others, but you’ll need to collect them all if you want to finish the side quest.
Most of the realms evenly divide up how many ravens you’ll need to find, with the quantity scaling with the size of the realm. Since your journey through Helheim this time around is relatively short, there are only two ravens you’ll need to get. This guide will walk you through how to find them.
Helgrind Raven
You’ll encounter the first raven shortly after arriving in Helheim while playing as Kratos. Atreus does come here first by himself earlier in the game, but there are no ravens he can get in that first mission. When you arrive in Helheim, head southeast down the path until you come across a pillar that you can destroy using your Draupnir Spear.
To the left of the pillar, you’ll see the raven flying around in the clearing. Although it never gets too far away from you, this one can be a little more difficult to hit with your Leviathan axe than some of the other ones in the game. If you find you are struggling to hit it, try using your Draupnir spear. It can be thrown a lot farther, which gives you more flexibility with where you choose to hit the raven.
Hel’s Perch Raven
When Atreus first comes to Helheim, he foolishly frees the giant wolf-beast, Garm. After wreaking havoc on the 9 realms, Garm returns to Helheim where Kratos and Atreus must fight him. After defeating Garm, you’ll make your way back around to the southernmost area of Helheim where you first entered, giving you access to the second raven.
From the Hel’s Perch Mystic Gateway, head down the first set of stairs and immediately hang a left. Grapple up the wall and follow the path around to your left until you find some runes. Just above the runes, you’ll find the raven perched on a rock. This raven is very close and should be easy to get with any of your weapons.
