Watch Dogs Legion is the third installment in the open-world hacking series, set in a dystopian London where players take on the role of a hacker who aims to prevent the downfall of the city. Players can recruit characters that they encounter along the way, and use them to complete missions. Watch Dogs Legion also features a multiple-playable character system, allowing players to utilize characters with special skills in sync by combining shooting and stealth. Ubisoft has previously brought online multiplayer mode to the game as part of the post-launch support, allowing up to four players to explore London together.

Watch Dogs Legion received an average rating from players and media outlets, with praise for its core gameplay. However, criticism was directed at its soundtracks, bugs, and plot trope repetition. In our Watch Dogs Legion review, we said: “Watch Dogs: Legion offers an incredibly vast recruitment system that wonderfully complements its hacking mechanics while boasting the darkest story in the series.”

Ubisoft’s plans to release its games on Steam after a four-year hiatus began with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on December 6, when the game received its last content update, which wrapped up Eivor’s story. Roller Champions and Anno 1800 are also among the Ubisoft titles that have been added to Steam this month.
