Sinistea is currently available in only a small handful of locations in Paldea. The above map shows the few areas where Sinistea can be spotted, which are areas where the Pokemon will be high-level. In the South Province (Area Six) location, Sinisteas will range from level 40 to around level 43. In the East Province (Area Three) location, Sinisteas will be around Level 28 to Level 31.

In these small areas, Sinistea will most often be located nearby towns and ruins, especially right towards the entrance of a town by a Pokemon Center. We are going to now go over some specific locations where Sinistea can frequently be discovered.

  • In this area, you can start by flying to the Zapapico (East) Pokemon Center.
  • Based on the map, head a little bit east outside of the town.
  • Sinistea will often be close to the dirt path.
  • Once you find Sinistea, approach it either by using the ZR Button to throw a Poke Ball or just approach it directly.
  • In the battle, dwindle down its HP to make it easier to catch. You should be able to catch it relatively easily with a regular Poke Ball. If it seems to be stubborn, a Great Ball will work as well.

You can make Sinistea easier to find by creating a sandwich that gives a boost to Ghost Encounter Power. Some ingredients that give a boost to Ghost include Herbed Sausage, Potato Salad, Red Onion, and Curry Powder.
