It has been a week since we last enjoyed the adventures of Denji in his Chainsaw Man form, and it’s almost time for the new episode. This will be the fifth episode of the series, leaving us with seven more after that. Although no preview for the upcoming episode is available, it will most probably showcase a romantic relationship between Denji and Makima, and later she will ask him to defeat Gun Devil in exchange for making any one of his wishes come true.
Chainsaw Man Episode 4 Recap
Denji is able to save Power and Meowy from Bat Devil by killing him brutally. Power wonders why Denji saved her despite her attempt to feed him to the Bat Devil. As promised, Power allows Denji to fondle her chest, but as soon as he approaches, Leech Devil appears and bites off his hand. Denji soon converts to Chainsaw Devil, but he is not able to transform completely due to the loss of blood, only growing a Chainsaw on his head.
Motivated by his desire to touch a woman’s breast, despite being weak, Denji gives everything to kill the Leech Devil. For some time, he is able to overpower her, but then the Leech Devil dominates him, and right when she is about to kill Denji, Aki arrives and uses his devil power to bite off Leech Devil, killing her. Denji’s lost hand is also revived with a blood transfusion later on.
While in the hospital, Aki explains to Denji how he and Power might get disposed of for breaking the rules. He then tells Denji that he would have to comply with his rules to be saved, and Denji agrees. As a result, Aki persuades Makima to let them live, to which she agrees. But, Makima orders Power and Denji to live in Aki’s home, so the latter can keep an eye on them. At the end of the episode, Power reminds Denji of her promise to him, which makes him happy.
