Kojima Productions Begins Teasing Next Game With Mysterious Website

Kojima Productions have begun teasing what is expected to be the developer’s next game, via a mysterious website featuring a shadowed face with the caption “Who Am I?”.

The website has yet to be acknowledged by either Hideo Kojima or Kojima Productions’ official social media accounts. However, the website was tweeted out by one of Kojima’s close friends and Summer Game Fest organiser, Geoff Keighley.

Keighley simply tweeted a question mark, followed by the link to the Kojima Productions website, where an image of a woman with her face shadowed out can be seen. A caption over the mysterious face then reads “Who Am I?”.

Fans also pointed out that Norman Reedus, star of Kojima Productions Death Stranding, recently began following Fanning on Instagram.

Reedus recently let it slip to the public that he and Kojima Productions were currently in the process of developing a sequel to Death Stranding. Whether or not that will be Kojima’s next game is currently unknown.

Although it’s not certain that the mysterious website is for a new game, it’s unlikely that Kojima Productions is teasing anything other than their next project. It was previously leaked by industry insider Tom Henderson that Kojima’s next game would be called ‘Overdose’, and will be an exclusive Xbox cloud game.

Kojima himself has confirmed in the past that he would be working with Xbox Studios to create a cloud-based title, but didn’t go into detail about what the game would be called or when it would be released. But, with The Game Awards coming up at the end of the year, it’s possible that we get an official announcement for Kojima’s next game.
