1. Wednesday

The first announcement was made for Wednesday, an upcoming horror-comedy TV show. It is based on the character of Wednesday Addams from ‘The Addams Family,’ created by the cartoonist Charles Addams. The series was announced a long time back and the project started on September 21st, 2021.

Wednesday will have a total of 8 episodes, based on the life of a high school girl who tries to control her psychic powers and killing of the townspeople. Wednesday is looking for the answers to the mystery that affected her family 25 years ago.

2. Cabinet of Curiosities

The first trailer teaser of Cabinet of Curiosities was released a few hours back, and it sure looks creepy. The soundtrack, the direction, and the theme of the show are enough to excite the horror aficionados.

The show will run for a total of eight episodes directed by different directors, including such masters in creating horror content like Mandy, The Empty Man, Splice, The Babadook, The Vigil, Twilight, and A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night. Cabinet of Curiosities will star Andrew Lincoln, Ben Barnes, Charlyne Yi, Crispin Glover, and more. The show comes from the mind of Guillermo Del Toro.

3. The Midnight Club

Mike Flanagan is famous for his horror work, and now he is coming back again with a new Netflix horror series. The Midnight Club is inspired by a novel by Christopher Pike that goes by the same name. Here’s what we know about the show’s story so far: A group of teens gathers together in a house to share the horror stories. But the group finds itself in trouble after communicating with something supernatural.

4. School Tales

School Tales is the next horror show for Netflix in 2022 coming from Thailand, based on a comic by the same name. Just like the Cabinet of Curiosities, School Tales is also an eight-episode series by different directors following different stories. But one thing that all stories will have in common is the school setting.

The first three episodes of the show are titled ‘A Walk in School,’ Vengeful Spell, and ‘Lunch.’ Some of the cast members include Kay Lertsittichai, Nutchapan Paramacharoenroj, Panisara Rikulsurakan, and Jennis Oprasert.

5. Resident Evil

The show will have a total of eight episodes, with the first one titled ‘Welcome to New Racoon City.’ Three decades after the discovery of the T-virus, the bitter truths about the Umbrella corporation come out after the virus outbreak. 6. Locke & Key

No doubt, Locke & Key is one of the best supernatural horror series on Netflix you can enjoy right now. The show is finally renewed for its final season in the Netflix Geeked Week event. So, if you haven’t watched the first two seasons of the show, it’s the best time to start it.

The show is based on the life of the Locke family, who move to their family home after an incident, but the house is not an ordinary one! There are multiple keys in the house that can be used to open the doors in a magical way, but a supernatural entity is also searching for the keys.

7. 1899

By the creators of Dark, we are getting another masterpiece this year, 1899. With supernatural horror, mystery, and period drama, it’s going to be a full meal for the dark genre lovers.

The show will follow the story of European migrants leaving London to start a new life in New York. But their calm and easy journey turns into horror when they encounter another migrant ship. The show will star Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Andreas Pietschmann, and Miguel Bernardeau.
