HoYoverse has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for the new character Yelan featuring some of her gameplay.
Genshin Impact Gets Gameplay Trailer for New Character Yelan
Arriving today is version 2.7 for Genshin Impact and to celebrate its arrival HoYoverse has released a new trailer featuring Yelan. This time showing off her combat in gameplay. Yelan is a Hydro archer who has been previously teased to be coming to the game. The playable character is the latest 5-star to get their own banner called the Discerner of Enigmas. It also features boosted drop rates for 4-star characters Babara, Noelle and Yanfei.
Yelan’s abilities include Stealthy Bowshot as her normal attack, a Lingering Lifeline for her Elemental Skill and Depth-Clarion Dice as her Elemental Burst.
What’s New in Version 2.7?
Yelan arrives alongside version 2.7 on May 31st for Genshin Impact. Perilous Trail is a new Archon Quest Interlude Chapter featuring the Traveller who will join Yanfei, Yelan, Itto and Shinobu to delve deeper into the mysteries of The Chasm. Xiao is also somehow involved.

Realms of Guild and War
In the Perilous Trail are the challenge domains Realms of Guild and War. Here players will need to complete 3 challenges to complete a round. The first three 3 realms will be made up of 9 challenges, and the final domain contains 6 realms, meaning 18 challenges to best.
Genshin Impact Perilous Trail Strategems
Similarly to the previous event, players will need equip 3 strategems for each of the different rounds of combat. These provide different buffs, meaning you will need to form a strategy that takes advantage of these buffs. Lots of rewards as usual including a 4-star bow called Fading Twilight.
A Muddy Bizarre Adventure
Help a Sumerian research with mysterious mud in The Chasm. Clearing the area you can then activate and defend a Pursin’s Spike, with the use of your Lumenstone Adjuvant.
Drumalong Festival
Things are about to get musical as the rhythm game accompanied by Arataki Itto will have you play the drum along with different tracks in order to gain rewards. Take on Normal, Hard and Pro tracks to gain further rewards. Unlock the note editor so you can edit your own beatmaps to share with others.
Core of the Apparatus
Fontaine a toy collector has an interesting contraption that makes different items with variations of ingredients. He will give you this Apparatus to collect materials to create different ornamental robots which can be used in your Serenitea Pot.
New Content
Yelan get’s her own story quest called Umbrabilis Orchis Chapter: Act 1. Plus join the Kuki Shinobu Hangout Event in Act 1: The Gang’s Daily Deeds to find out more abut Kuki.
Recently HoYoverse has unveiled two new games currently in development. Zenless Zone Zero a fast-paced Action-RPG set in a more modern fantasy world with roguelite features. Also the turn-based RPG Honkai Star Rail, the strategy title. Both seem to be coming to mobile platforms and PC. They could work similarly to Genshin Impact having cross-play and cross-progression.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, iOS, Android and Playstation.
