How To Get Red Dye For On the Stage Behind the Stage in Genshin 2.7

On the Stage, Behind the Stage is one of the new World Quests added with the Genshin Impact 2.7 update, and NPC Dayu, as you progress through the quest, will most notably ask you to find him some Red Dye, here’s where you can get it.

Red Dye is among the materials used for crafting Furnishings inside the Serenitea Pot, Genshin Impact‘s housing system. In other words, newcomer players will first need to clear the prerequisite quests to unlock the Serenitea Pot if they haven’t yet.

For veteran players who already unlocked the pot, you just need to open your inventory, go to the Gadgets section, and select the pot. It will appear near you, and you can then interact with the pot to enter it.

How To Craft Red Dye Inside The Serenitea Pot In Genshin Impact

Inside the pot, speak to Tubby, the teapot-looking NPC located near your house’s entrance. Select Create Furnishings and then go to the Creation/Dyes menu. You can click on it at the top of the screen, or use the R1/right trigger button when using a controller. In this menu, you’ll be able to craft Red Dye using either a Sunsettia, Carrot, or Valberry. Select the amount of Red Dye you want, and click the Create button.

As a side note, if you place a Sub-Space Waypoint near Tubby in your Serenitea Pot, you’ll be able to teleport inside the Serenitea Pot by selecting it on the map. That’s what I always do and this way you can easily access Furnishings Crafting or the Realm Depot. Saves you a few steps and it’s much faster than having to bring out the Pot from the inventory every single time. You can buy Sub-Space Waypoints when speaking to Tubby and accessing the Realm Depot. One Sub-Space Waypoint is 100 Realm Currency.

Giving the Red Dye to Dayu

Personally speaking, I’ve found this quest to be particularly nice most notably as we get to see more of Yun Jin. Genshin Impact World Quests, while unvoiced, are more often than not the best story content in the game. Especially when they make past characters appear like this. You definitely shouldn’t sleep on them nor skip their dialogues.
