Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Announced for 2023, Sequel to Fall Order
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to the Fallen Order, coming to Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023.
While there weren’t many specific details given, the youtube video description shared that the game will take place five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game will be a third-person, narrative-driven game, with plenty of action similar to its prequel.
The trailer shows Cal Kestis returning in Survivor, along with the loveable side-kick droid in toe BD-1. In case you missed the first one, Cal is Jedi in hiding, working in a junkyard. The game is set five years after the end of the Clone Wars after Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. When he uses his powers to save a friend, he is then set on the run, and is set on a journey to complete his Jedi training.
If the sequel is anything like the first, there will be more immersive Lightsaber combat, more of the galaxy to explore and coming into your own as a Jedi Knight.
Survivor will be only coming to next-gen platforms it seems, as Playstation 4 and Xbox One aren’t listed. This looks like to be more phasing out of older gen consoles and moving forward with next-gen or I suppose we’d call it current consoles.
Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more Stars Wars titles as we haven’t seen much of Star Wars Eclipse being developed by Quantic Dream which was revealed at last year’s TGA, set in the High Republic era.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023.
