Spotlight Hour: Pikipek

Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time

The Season of Alola says goodbye with a Spotlight Hour for one of its regional monsters: Flying-type Pokémon Pikipek appears during the event period with a greatly increased spawn rate, and you’ll be rewarded with double experience points for catching Pokémon in that time window as well.

Season of GO: Launch

Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 10 a.m. local time

The Season of GO starts on Tuesday and once again changes the list of regularly appearing Pokémon as well as Pokémon hatching from eggs. In addition, there are several bonuses in store and the necessary level for finding Candy XL has been lowered to level 31, which is a great change for anyone wanting to compete in GO Battle League, but hasn’t reached level 40 yet.

These are the bonuses active until September 1, 2022:

Increased friendship bonus damage for Raids.
Lure Module duration extended to one hour.
One extra Special Trade per day.
One extra Pokémon Candy when trading Pokémon.
Guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon.
Guaranteed Gifts from PokéStop spins.
Increased damage for Pokémon participating in Raids remotely.
Increased Incense effectiveness while moving.

Raid Hour: Kyogre

Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time

Hoenn Legendary Kyogre returns to the 5-Star Raids on Wednesday and faces the challenge of being targeted by users during Raid Hour in the evening – a tough first day back in the office. The extremely popular Water-type Pokémon, which is very powerful in competitions, will appear at all available gyms during the one-hour event – if you’re lucky, you’ll even find it in the Shiny variant.

GO Battle League: Super League and Super League Remix

Wednesday, June 1, 2022, starting at 1 p.m. PDT

Season 11 of GO Battle League takes over the Interlude Season’s weekly rotation and will bring you fresh contests every Wednesday for the next three months. Things kick off with the Great League and its open format for Pokémon up to 1,500 competition points (CP), as well as the Great League Remix. As usual, the 20 most popular monsters used by top players are locked for this particular competition.

These Pokémon are banned from competing in Season 11’s Great League Remix:

Pokémon GO Fest 2022: Kick-off event

Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5, 2022, each from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 is split into several parts and regional events running over several weeks. First, however, things get underway with the kick-off event, which is available globally and online, and for which you can find all available information in our overview article. The short version: numerous Shiny debuts, raids, special spawns, and a number of tasks await you – as long as you purchase a ticket.
