Monster Hunter Sunbreak

  • Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has revealed multiple Silkbind Attacks and Switch Skills for a number of weapons in the run up to the release of the expansion in June.
  • Combat is about to get a lot more exciting in Monster Hunter Rise’s upcoming expansion, Sunbreak. The DLC is planned to release worldwide on June 30, 2022.
  • Sunbreak promises to enhance the excellent gameplay of Monster Hunter Rise by introducing new locations, and monsters, among other things. More importantly, the expansion will introduce one new Switch Skill and one new Silkbind Attack per weapon type.
  • This, along with the ability to set multiple Switch Skill loadouts, should make combat much more enjoyable and give players multiple options to deal with monsters on the fly.
  • Such new moves include the Surge Slash Combo for the Great Sword. This offensive move lets the Hunter deliver three consecutive massive overhead swings.
  • Sword & Shield adds more skills to do damage or to make enemies flinch more with the Twin Blade Combo. A one-two punch attack that combines two sword strikes. Destroyer Oil, on the other hand, is the newest Silkbind Skill that makes your Wirebugs coat your blade with a “special ointment”. This causes large monsters to stagger more frequently, allowing us to get more hits in.
  • The quick and ranged Long Sword’s new abilities make heavy use of the Spirit Gauge mechanic. While the Hunting Horn gains a Swing Combo, letting Hunter get in some consecutive hits.
  • These are just a few of new changes coming with Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, you can check more over on Fextralife and visit our Monster Hunter Rise wiki for all the latest.
