Skyrim Anniversary Edition might be coming to Nintendo Switch

You know that running gag about repeatedly buying Skyrim? Well, it might be time to prep those jokes yet again.

On Wednesday, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch briefly appeared on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee’s website. It was quickly taken down, but Switch Brasil thankfully caught the listing first. Typically, games only get ratings when release is imminent. So yeah, it’s probably happening.

Skyrim‘s Anniversary Edition came out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC last November. It has every DLC and expansion, along with more than 500 pieces of user-created content from Bethesda’s Creation Club. If you’ve never played Skyrim before by some highly-unlike chance, this is the version newbies should go with.

Despite how likely another port is, please don’t take this as confirmation that Skyrim Anniversary Edition is absolutely making it on Switch. I’d bet that it’s happening, but you never know until someone at Bethesda makes an official announcement. Not Todd Howard, though, since his son will roast him over it.

It’s wild that Skyrim is still so popular even 10 years later. While Elder Scrolls 6 was announced a couple of years ago, it’s not coming out until after Starfield. Even then, keep in mind that it might be exclusively on PC and Xbox platforms.
