Titan Comics’ latest Bloodborne series is coming July 27, and we’ve got a preview of four jaw-dropping covers as well as some interior art from the first issue for fans of From Software’s critically-acclaimed RPG to feast their eyes on.

The new series is titled Bloodborne: Lady of the Lanterns, and comes from Eisner-award nominated writer Cullen Bunn, who’s previous work includes runs on Uncanny X-Men, Moon Knight, Wolverine and more. He’s joined on the project by colorist Brand Simpson and artist Piotr Kowalski, who has worked on series like Marvel’s The Dark Tower adaptation and Image Comics’ SEX, as well as multiple other Bloodborne comics for Titan.

This new series is still somewhat shrouded in mystery, but is said to explore Bloodborne’s iconic city of Yharnam “through the eyes of its citizens, when new hunters take to the streets to fight against the cruel and unusual epidemic that has gripped the city. In the black of the night, families and faith will be tested.”

A prequel issue for Bloodborne: Lady of the Lanterns was actually included as part of this year’s Free Comic Book Day offerings, giving readers a glimpse of what the series will be all about. Titan Comics recently released a Bloodborne graphic novel box set collecting three different series–The Death of Sleep, The Healing Thirst, and A Song of Crows.

While there is no news on a Bloodborne sequel or remaster, players can check out a fan-made PlayStation 1 style demake of Bloodborne in the meantime. There’s even plans for a fan-made Bloodborne kart-racer. From Software’s latest RPG, Elden Ring, has found huge success, having sold more than 13.4 million copies, more than the latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise.
