Summer Game Fest 2024: New World, Dune Awakening, Palworld, and more MMO reveals

0

Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest – aka not-E3 – is set to begin this evening at 5 p.m. EDT, and if you’ve been following it, you probably already know that Keighley has been downplaying the show, telling press to expect not major reveals of new games but rather updates and trailers for existing games. That’s probably going to suit the MMORPG fanbase just fine, however, as we’re expecting news from Amazon’s New World (yeah, leaks, we know, sigh), Funcom’s Dune Awakening, Tencent, Nexon, Riot, NetEase, and plenty more. In fact, MOP’s Andrew Ross is on the ground at this weekend’s event, so we’ll have even more coming as the embargoes lift over the next week.

We’ll be updating this post with the highlights of tonight’s keynote show as they happen, so refresh a few times if you’re watching along (or not) at home.
