3 Returning Splatoon 3 Charger Weapons Confirmed

Nintendo’s been going over new and returning Splatoon 3 weapons ahead of launch, and the latest update features charger equipment. These are the weapons a player can charge up for a more intense attack and are sniper-types of guns. To be specific, the Classic Squiffer, E-liter 4K, and Splat Charger all showed up in brief videos. To be specific, the Classic Squiffer, E-liter 4k, and Splat Charger all showed up in brief videos. As a note, the second game allowed players to store charges for all three weapons, then use it later when they are in place and ready to attack.

The Splat Charger showed up first. This is a kind of sniper “rifle” that appeared in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is referred to as the basic charger type weapon.

The Classic Squiffer showed up in the second video. Like the Splat Charger, it appeared in the previous two games.

The final Splatoon 3 charger weapon to appear is the E-liter 4k. While E-liter types have appeared in all three games, this particular one first debuted in Splatoon 2. The E-liter 3k showed up in Splatoon instead.

This marks the second reminder regarding returning weapons. Before it talked about some charger weapons, Nintendo showed off a few shooter types that will be back in Splatoon 3. Weapons like the Splattershot and .96 Gal will return.

Splatoon 3 will come to the Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022.
