This list will highlight some of the best cosmetic rewards that can be obtained this season, including emotes, contrails, harvesting tools, and all non-skin rewards.

10 Taiko Drumbeat

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Taiko Drum

Taiko Drumbeat is the second to last reward in the Quest Rewards tab of the Battle Pass. It is an emote that involves the character rapidly playing the drum. This specific kind of drum fits this season’s Japanese theme very well.

Due to how late it is on the Quest Rewards page, it won’t be unlockable until around week 11 of the season. Only dedicated players who complete most quests will unlock it.

9 Mega Mavericks

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Mega Mavericks all skins

This is the final unlockable loading screen this season. It depicts all the new skins lined up except for Eren. Making Eren the only character not in a perfect line is a nice detail since he’s a guest character from another series and is known for swinging around the air.

The katakana and neon lights around the image capture the atmosphere of the new map well. An interesting detail about this loading screen is that all the girl characters are in their default style, while almost all the boy characters are wearing one of their alternate styles.

8 Expressionism

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 emote Expressionism used by Imani

This expressively colorful emote can be found on the fourth page of the main Battle Pass — this makes it fairly easy to unlock. The various colors that this emote can use to paint make it eye-catching.

Imani is a skin that blends both the last and futuristic styles of clothing together. She is all about expressiveness, and this emote was created for her showcase as well.

7 Meteor Shower

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 contrail meteor shower

This contrail involves many small meteors flying towards the player’s hands. The pink, purple, and blue color pallet match Mystica’s Crimsonbloin style perfectly but don’t match her other two variations.

This holds this contrail back just a little bit, but it still looks great in the game. It’s a good contrail even on other characters. The Meteor Shower event matches the theme of the next entry on this list.

6 Lost Meteor

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 lost Meteor glider living sentient astroid alien

Like Meteor Shower, this larger meteor was designed with Mystica in mind. It is a sentient creature from space that acts as a glider. Lost Meteor’s description implies it is a friend of Mythica.

A red variation of this glider can be unlocked through quests. This means that Mystica’s first two styles have a glider variation, but there isn’t one for the Wintersong style.

5 Stormcloud

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Stormcloud glider

One of this season’s new vehicles is a motorcycle. Stormcloud isn’t the same model as the actual motorcycles you can drive around the island, but it’s close enough to make it feel like you’re using one of them when descending in the air. The user fearlessly stands on it as it falls as opposed to sitting on it the intended way.

This glider was made for Thunder and had a white variation based on his sushi chef-themed Midnight Snack style. There isn’t a third style of Stormcloud to match Thunder’s additional Rumbling style, but Rumbling’s color scheme matches the default Stormcloud well enough. This is an advantage over Lost Meteor, which looks slightly out of place when used by Mystica’s third style.

4 Monstrous Hunger

This spray depicts Thunder’s sushi costume standing above a city. This is partially a reference to Godzilla. Multiple of Thunder’s cosmetics is kaiju themed, with the most obvious one being the harvesting cool that is conveniently named the Kaiju Cutter.

There’s katakana on multiple items in this Battle Pass, but this spray specifically being a reference to something makes it stand out among them.

3 Swag Shot

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Swag Shot Sasuke is Guilty of Sweatin

This emote involves the user getting their mug shot taken while holding a sign that admits their guilt of sweating. In this case, sweat is a term that refers to a player that tries too hard to be good at a video game.

Ironically, this is a page-one emote that can be unlocked by anyone with the Battle Pass almost instantly. It’s overall a really nice humor oriented emote.

2 Chef’s Special

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 emote Chef's Special featuring sushi midnight snack thunder

Chef’s Special is a dangerous dance that involves throwing two sushi chef knives around while a song plays in the background. It’s an emote that gets right to the point with past-paced movement and lyrics.

It can be unlocked on page six of the Battle Pass, which makes it moderately easy to obtain. It’s an emote that comes with Thunder’s set but works well with most skins in the battle pass. For example, Stray is associated with daggers and other sharp objects, so this emote works equally well for him.

1 Eren’s Gear

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Eren Yeager and his cosmetics unlocked attack on Titan

Crossover content has been a big selling point in the most recent Fortnite seasons’ Battle Passes. Attack on Titan is the only crossover series this time around, so there isn’t much competition for what the best cosmetics are. Eren comes with many cosmetics that would dominate most of this list if they were all ranked separately. However, most players that use even one of these cosmetics are likely to use all of them in the same loadout.

There’s a spray based on Eren’s iconic pose, the key to his basement is back bling, the Scout Regiment Salute is an emote, and there’s even an icy fist that references his Titan transformation. What’s especially surprising is Attack on Titan already has a wrap. It took Naruto until its second wave of four characters to get a wrap, and no other anime has gotten one until now. Eren’s cosmetics are all wonderful references to the source material.
