Sadly, the finger he ate belonged to the most powerful Curse in history, Sukuna. Now, possessed by this evil being, Itadori will be forced to join Jujutsu High, where the most powerful sorcerer, Gojo, will be his teacher. The show is undoubtedly darker and more violent than My Hero Academia, but it is still one of the best anime of the last decade.
8 Black Clover
Asta is a young boy with the dream of becoming the Wizard King, a title only given to the best knight in the Clover Kingdom. Sadly, our hero was born without the ability to use magic, putting him at a disadvantage.
After finding a strange grimoire with a five-leaf clover on it, Asta gains the ability to use elf-swords and anti-magic. Armed with these tools, he will challenge his best friend and rival Yuno to see who can become the next Wizard King. Black Clover is a truly enjoyable and entertaining anime that My Hero Academia fans will love.
7 Assassination Classroom
The world was in peril after a weird-looking and super-intelligent creature called Koro-sensei destroyed 70% of the moon. After Koro-sensei threatens to do the same with Earth, Japan’s Government is forced to comply with his request to become a teacher at Kunugigaoka High School.
Koro-sensei is introduced as the new teacher of Class 3-E, the worst class in school. He tasked the students with the mission of killing him before the school year was over, or he will destroy the planet. Assassination Classroom is a series that will catch My Hero Academia fans by surprise with its amazing morals, plot twists, and emotional moments.
6 Fire Force
Infernals are zombie-like fire monsters who used to be humans. These creatures were created when a phenomenon called Spontaneous Human Combustion began occurring without warning. Fortunately, later generations that were afflicted by this event were turned into pyrokinetics instead of monsters.
Shinra, our hero, is one of these powerful warriors, as well as an eager member of the Special Fire Force. With the help of his squad and his mentor, Shinra will fight against Infernals while uncovering the truth of what caused the creation of these monsters. Fire force is a marvelous show that will enchant My Hero Academia fans with the way it presents the diverse cast of powerful pyrokinetics.
5 One-Punch Man
Saitama used to be a normal man, bored with his every-day-life. One day, he decided to begin training harder than ever, becoming the most powerful human on the planet. While he achieved his goal of becoming a Hero, Saitama’s strength grew so much that he could now end any enemy with a single punch.
The show follows Saitama as he tries to find a worthy opponent that can give him the excitement he is looking for. A simple and hilarious premise with an outstanding art style and animation is what excites My Hero Academia fans, who decide to give this show a chance.
4 Blue Exorcist
Assiah and Gehenna are two parallel worlds, one inhabited by humans and the other by demons. Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, is desperate to find a way to conquer the humans. He decides to send his small child, Rin, to the human realm, expecting him to become a propel vessel to possess in the future.
However, Satan’s plans are interrupted when Rin decides to become an Exorcist instead of joining forces with him. Now, it is up to Rin and his exorcist classmates to find a way to stop Satan. Another fantastic Shonen anime based on a school, just like My Hero Academia fans like it.
3 Charlotte
Charlotte is a comet that passes by Earth every 75 years, spreading its cosmic dust over everyone in the world. This dust can give teens special powers, but only after they inhale it. One day, Yuu awakens with the power to possess anyone he makes eye contact with for five seconds.
He fantasizes about using this power to have an easy and problem-free life until a girl named Nao exposes him and forces Yuu to join Hoshinoumi Academy. She explains that she is the president of the Student Council, a group tasked with keeping individuals with powers safe from the government. A story full of drama, unexpected twists, and emotional moments that My Hero Academia fans are sure to enjoy.
2 Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Tsuna is not good at anything in particular. He is mocked at school for his low grades, lack of athletic skills, and overall boring personality. This all changes when his mother hires Reborn, a personal tutor who looks like a baby.
Yet, the small infant is not what he seems, as he reveals that he is a hitman sent by the boss of the most powerful mafia family, the Vongola, to train Tsuna as their new boss.
